Introducing the 2011 AABC/BEST Don Mattingly (17U)
Regional Tournaments
The Don Mattingly Division of AABC (17U) has
announced that Tempe, Arizona is the new location of
the World Championship tournament. This prestigious
event will be run in conjunction to the Arizona
Connie Mack Western Regional Championship that has always
attracted numerous college coaches and scouts. With
this addition to the event it is a no brainer for
any quality summer team. But in order to get
there you must win a Regional Tournament!
BEST in association with AABC will
be hosting many of these qualifying tournaments.
Some of the unique features of these championship
events are:

Three pool games with five game guarantee
(weather permitting)

Seeding of teams into championship play

Top four seeds advance to championship bracket
-
All other teams enter consolation bracket -
consolation bracket winner advances to play the
loser of the semi-finals of the championship
bracket. The winner advances in the loser's
bracket to face the winner of the championship
bracket for the championship.

No loading of pools - each pool will be drawn
and not placed.

NO GOOD OLE BOY SYSTEM - You have to earn your
way to Tempe!
